Roland’s Travel(Srory in a box)

Roland is a nice man, he likes to travel, he has gone a lot of places and enjoyed this kind of life, and the journey helps him adjust mentality, which gives him good mood every day.

This story happened several years ago, Roland remain fresh in his memory.

When Roland was 12, uncle Jeff came back from Africa and brought a lot of gift ,Uncle Jeff told many stories about his trip. Little Roland was very interested in Jeff’s journey, he asked old Jeff brought him to go to Africa next time, but Jeff laughed at him and said:”Boy, it is not a game, I do not want to protect a caitiff. hahaha..”

Roland was recalcitrant, he pledged to certificate that he is a brave man. He slipped in a cargo boat, and began his risk. He didn’t know how long he slept in the cargo boat. Roland stepped from the cargo boat in a night, he felt very hungry, lucky, he found a wallet at the big quay shed. There is some money in the wallet, he bought some chestnuts from a little roustabout whose skin is yellow. Roland knew that he arrive east Asia. He felt very untranquil, there is far from his hometown, nobody could speak English, so he cannot communicate to anyone, he went back to the wharf, but the cargo boat was already leave. Roland had to stay there. He lived there for two years, and he learned how to speak Chinese and Japanese, he learnt how to use wood rule and other tools to make seals. After he earned enough money, he wanted to go back to his hometown. Roland went to Singapore first, he bought some commemorative coins of Singapore, then he went to east Africa by ship, but during his trip, he was robbed by some Somali pirates, he was exiled to east Africa, he lost all his money. He had to live there, he fallen in love with a girl who was also robbed by pirates. They stayed and lived together and had a baby. The headman sent them a wood African woman and a wood head portrait, for celebrating their wedding. Roland and his family sold clothes and enamels to Egyptian, they transported the goods by rowboats. Several years later, Roland went back to Europe, they brought a lot of enamels, and sold them out, Roland earned a lot, he became a rich man, he set up a factory to make enamels and seals, and also produced some thing looks European, such as a person holding a drum. He bought a bungalow, and enjoys his life in his hometown with his family.
